Dog adopts two tiger cubs

China: A Chinese zoo sought help from the public to find a suitable adoptive mother for a pair of abandoned tiger cubs. The newborn cubs were abandoned by their mother shortly after being born.
The zoo then sought help from a local TV station to advertise for an adoptive mother to feed the two cubs. Within 10 days, the zoo was inundated with calls offering everything from their dog to their goat to act as nursemaid.
Eventually, a dog was chosen that had given birth to four pups, but had lost two. The dog readily adopted the two additions to her family. “If the feeder took the tiger cubs away, the dog would be anxious and open her eyes wide, fearing her tiger kids may not come back again”.
